During my recent stay at Hotel Smeraldo, I found the classic-style room to be a peaceful retreat, complete with a lovely balcony offering sea views-a perfect spot for afternoon relaxation. The hotel is ideally located just a short two-minute walk from the beach promenade and a convenient bus stop that connects you to nearby gems like Viareggio and Pisa, making exploration a breeze. While the atmosphere was generally laid-back, I must admit that the service lacked a warm touch, as I noticed a distinct absence of smiles from the staff-a small drawback in an otherwise serene setting. All things considered, Hotel Smeraldo manages to blend comfortable accommodations with a strategic location, which any traveler to the Tuscan coast would appreciate.
